This project features a one-story retail center with a two-story restaurant at the front along Rayford-Sawdust Road, characterized by a cantilevered second floor, an open stairwell, and inset brick details on the east facade. Design challenges included a custom steel "rib-cage" structure to support stacked tilt panels and perforated metal screens, as well as structural steel tubing to brace a 43-foot-high window wall against wind forces. The construction used tilt-wall panels, structural steel, composite steel for the restaurant's second floor, and lateral/eccentric tube braces to accommodate mechanical systems and window openings.
