SANTA FE FIRE & RESCUE NO. 1

The City of Santa Fe Fire Department commissioned a new fire station in 2010 to accommodate four additional full-size fire trucks, featuring offices, gear storage, dorms, and a shared kitchen/dining space, with exterior cladding of brick veneer, stucco, and standing seam metal panels. The building's structural system combines steel columns, wide-flange beams, and a hybrid roof deck to handle windstorm forces and lateral stability while integrating architectural elements like the cupola and exposed stair landings.
