EAGLEBURGMANN ADDITION & RENOVATION

This 4-story tilt-wall office building, adjacent to EagleBurgmann's existing facility, was a 2013 Tilt-Up Construction Association (TCA) Achievement Award winner. Unique features include cantilevered office spaces, a 2-story lobby with curtainwall glazing, and an oval roof screen carried through the building’s design. As one of Houston’s first 4-story tilt-wall buildings, it utilized only 19 panels, including complex notched and stepped designs, with spandrel panels hung on a steel frame to reduce cost and withstand hurricane-force winds.
