BLACK FOREST TECHNOLOGY PARK

Black Forest Ventures, based in The Woodlands, Texas, developed a 4-story Class A office building that completes the Black Forest Technology Park, featuring steel construction and precast facades for unobstructed views. Challenges included designing an open interior layout for future tenants while managing limited wind bracing locations and addressing drainage issues on a complex roof terrace. Structural steel, composite construction, and spread footings were utilized to optimize structural performance and accommodate the area's sandy soil conditions.
