Grant, originally from Michigan, joined Pinnacle in 2018 after relocating to Houston from Hawaii with his wife, Carolyn. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Grant is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in six states and has his structural engineer (S.E.) license in Georgia after passing the 16-hour structural engineering exam in 2022. At Pinnacle, he advanced to Principal and Vice President in February 2023, where he manages projects spanning the commercial, industrial, multi-family, and worship sectors. He also leads engineering training initiatives and contributes to the development of design and detailing standards.
In their free time, Grant and Carolyn enjoy exploring Houston's culinary scene, breweries, and sporting events, often accompanied by their two dogs. On weekends, Grant can typically be found tackling home improvement projects, volunteering at their church, or cheering on University of Michigan teams.
