Adam is a founding principal of Pinnacle, with extensive experience in structural engineering design and detailing, project management, and construction administration. Adam's education includes attendance at Rice University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Structures Focus), and at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned his M.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Adam is licensed as a professional engineer in the states of Texas, California, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.
Adam has served as Engineer-of-Record on over 550 projects, including blast-resistant industrial facilities, worship spaces, financial institutions, distribution/warehouse complexes, healthcare campuses, retail centers, and corporate office buildings. He has also performed analyses on a multitude of existing structures, to determine capacities, performance characteristics and subsequently provide recommendation for remedial work.
For the past 12 years, Adam has volunteered as a Director, mentor, and in various committee roles with ACE Mentor Program Houston, a non-profit organization that introduces high school students to the AEC industries through mentorship initiatives. Beyond the office, Adam and his wife Sarah own and operate Baileson Brewing Company, as well as Second Draught, which is located in the Ion District.
